Following the on-loan Chelsea midfielder was assaulted by a gang of guys while drunk out a Manchester nightclub danny Drinkwater will match with Sean Dyche on Monday afternoon to go over his future, Sky Sports News has learned.
Paper reports have been confirmed by sky Sports News on Sunday, which disclosed when a scuffle broke out, Drinkwater was drinking at the Chinawhite club in Manchester last weekend.
The former Manchester United trainee was thrown before being assaulted by various guys, leaving him with bruises and cuts to his head, along with a badly injured shoulder.
Drinkwater has made no formal complaint but he is likely to be out of action for several months that rehab will begin at Burnley, and while he receives treatment on his ankle.
Chelsea are conscious of the incident, and they’re departing Burnley to deal with the matter in the first case while they’re in regular contact Drinkwater.
Sky Sports News understands Dyche is concerned by Drinkwater’s activities, but he isn’t going at this point to cancel his loan agreement and deliver him straight right back to his parent team.
This episode is the most up-to-date in a long lineup of issues for Drinkwater, because he won the Premier League title with Leicester and moved to Chelsea for 35m the summer.
Drinkwater was found guilty of drink driving after crashing his car whilst the legal alcohol limit.
